Drivers are being warned of delays as a 100-tonne abnormal load is transported through Suffolk.

The 19-metre-long transformer will leave Sizewell A power station, near Leiston in east Suffolk, at 10am on Monday as it makes its way to South Yorkshire.

Officers from Suffolk police will be escorting the vehicle from the power station along Lover's Lane, onto the B1122, A12 and then A14.

Suffolk police will then hand over the escort to Cambridgeshire police once it crosses the border into the county.

It comes after two abnormal loads were transported along the A14 earlier this month.
