A BAND has released a new music video similar in style to a famous visual from the pop group A-ha

Greebo, an indie rock four-piece from Earls Colne, have just dropped their brand-new music video for their new single Reminiscing.

The band completed the filming for the video in just one afternoon, before attending an event in London.

Harry said: "We had an idea for the video to be about Charlie and Ash arguing at rehearsals.

"When Charlie drops his scarf and Ash is feeling guilty about it, he goes on a quest.

"Having never done a proper attempt at a music video we really had no idea what we were doing.

"Fortunately, I have a local family friend called Stephen Munson who is a jack of all trades when it comes to music, poetry and filmmaking.

"So, I got in contact with him and he kindly said he’d love to help us."

Interestingly, the clip looks similar in parts to A-ha's Take On Me video, although Harry says it is unintentional.

He said: "It was an unintended similarity, Stephen was kind enough to send us several videos to choose from, ones in colour and ones with and without lyrics.

"When we saw the one in black and white I instantly clocked the similarity and really liked it.

"I think we all really like how different it is, it’s better than just lip-syncing somewhere."

The clip is the first to feature the group's current line-up, which consists of Harry Munson, 19, Ash Condon, 24, Matt Solomon, 24, and Charlie Masterson, 24.

Harry said: "We are all very excited about this music video.

"The current line-up is only a year old so we feel this single and the music video demonstrates a new age for the band, especially with the synth inspiration.

"We are really looking forward to working with Stephen more on one of our new singles we have planned to release this year.

"Our current plan is to release two more singles and an EP later this year, so we see this song and the music video as the beginning of a really exciting year ahead."
