A POPULAR animal enclosure at Colchester Zoo has been closed temporarily to visitors.
The Maldon Road attraction has said its Kingdom of the Wild building will be closed today, Friday, March 22.
No reason has been given for the closure.
The zoo says its Kingdom of the Wild is one of the site’s “most impressive exhibits”.
It houses a range of different African species.
The inside area houses pygmy hippos, a variety of reptiles, invertebrates and fish species.
