A MAN had to be taken to hospital after he collapsed at a leisure venue in Colchester.

Paramedics were called to Tenpin, in Cowdray Avenue, on Wednesday, following reports of a medical emergency.

Upon arrival the found man who had collapsed before transporting him to Colchester Hospital. 

A spokesman from East of England Ambulance Service said: “Two ambulances were sent to reports that a person had collapsed at Tenpin Bowling, Colchester on Wednesday March 13.

“The patient, a man aged around 40, was taken to Colchester Hospital for further assessment and care.”
