A RISING seven-piece band is set to headline a Colchester venue later this month, thanks to a local promoter.
The Brighton-based art-punk band, Keg, will perform at Three Wise Monkeys, on March 29.
Keg’s musical style has been described as a mix between of Dexys Midnight Runners and a jumper ready to be unravelled.
The group are becoming well known for their exciting and chaotic live shows.
The night of live music is being put on by Colchester-based promoter Francesca Prior under the moniker, The Big C Promotions.
Keg’s support acts will include Alien Chicks, Greebo, and Generation Feral.
Francesca spoke about The Big C's ethos and the forthcoming big night, she said: “The Big C Promotions is all about music, community, and resilience.
“Our events showcase diverse talent, create safe spaces, and celebrate the joy of live music.

Music will start from 7.30pm and tickets cost £12 with a booking free online.
On the door tickets will cost £15.
