An Essex bus provider is struggling with “operational issues” leading to a number of services not running in Colchester. 

First Essex has informed travellers that a number of services in and around the city will not operate as usual, following issues. 

A First Essex spokesperson said: “We are currently experiencing a temporary operational issue in Colchester, which is unfortunately having an impact on a limited number of services. 

“For information on cancellations, please check X (formerly Twitter) @FirstEssex or the First Bus app before travelling. Please accept our sincere apologies for this disruption, we are working as quickly as possible to resolve it.”
