AN acclaimed star of a popular Netflix show which has fans across the world is bringing his new comedy show to Colchester.
Comedian Eshaan Akbar is embarking on a national tour next year and will headline Colchester Arts Centre on February 15, 2025.
The entertainer is well known for playing Principal Lakhani in the hugely successful comedy-drama Sex Education’s fourth series.
Eshaan has also appeared in Mock the Week, QI, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, and more.
His 2025 UK headline tour will include 38 different performances across the country before culminating with a final show at London’s Hackney Empire on April 12.
Comedy lovers can expect a show with unique and insightful comedy from the former banker, who has also worked as a policy adviser, speechwriter, and journalist.
Eshaan explained why he’s doing another tour.
He said: “I’m doing another tour because it’s one way of creating more work for myself and to give you all something to do.
“I can promise you, my show will be better than doing nothing - that’s a minimum guarantee. I’ve appeared in Animals Do The Funniest Things you know.”
