AN award-winning comedian often seen on our television screens is coming to Colchester as part of his nationwide tour.

Justin Moorhouse will perform at Colchester Arts Centre, in Church Street, on Sunday, March 3 at 7.30pm.

His UK tour, Stretch and Think, has been extended into 2024 after originally starting back in 2022.

According to the comedian, the show "may contain" material about yoga, getting older, Madonna, shoplifters Labradoodles and middle-aged cyclists.

He may also touch on the menopause, running, hating football fans but loving football, not drinking, funerals,, Captain Tom, Droylsden, the environment and much more.

A spokesman for the show added: "Justin is back: still funny, yet middle-aged.

“And he’s got a new suit. Come, it’ll be fun.”

Justin's TV and film credits include Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and 8 out of 10 Cats.

The comedian is said to have “lightning-fast wit and masterful delivery” and the Guardian previously gave his show five stars, saying “the amount of first-rate comic craft that goes into his routines is worthy of admiration".

The British Theatre Guide, meanwhile, gave his show a rating of four stars and said it was “hilarious storytelling combined with a quick wit".
