A POPULAR animal at Colchester Zoo has been taken off show after an enclosure was closed temporarily to customers.
Tembo the African elephant has been taken off show whilst essential works are carried out.
The Elephant Bushwalk pathway is expected to be closed for about two weeks whilst the maintenance works are carried out.
The zoo has advised visitors to keep an eye on the Colchester Zoo social media pages for the latest updates on the site.
