The four-bedroom, three-bathroom flat in Meachen Road, has been looking for a buyer for a total of three years and three months.
The home, last sold in September 2003 for £160,000, was first listed by Redcastle Real Estate agents in November, 18 2020.
It is now priced at £275,000 and, according to Zoopla, still remains on the market with Redcastle.
The home has a ground floor with a big kitchen dining room, an en-suite double bedroom, a double bedroom and a family bathroom.
On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom and the flat includes one allocated parking space and no garden.
According to the estate agent, informed by the leaseholder, the lease is in excess of 900 years.
A spokesman for the estate agents said: “Redcastle Residential brings to the market this substantial four double bedroom duplex flat situated close to Hythe station, University of Essex and within easy reach to all local amenities.
“The flat comprises open plan kitchen diner, en-suite shower room in addition to two family bathrooms.”
