AN A12 slip road is set to temporarily close for two nights later this month.

The entry and exit slip roads for the A12's northbound carriageway at Park Lane, Langham, will be shut down on February 27 from 9pm until 5am.

It is estimated the slip road will reopen from February 29.

The closure is to allow underground communication works to be carried out safely.

To enter the A12 northbound at the slip road at Park Lane a diversion will be set up through Wick Road and Birchwood Road, leading motorists to join the A12's southbound carriageway.

From there the Crown Interchange can be used to return to the northbound carriageway.

The exit slip road at Park Lane will also have a diversion in place with drivers having to continue on the A12 before exciting at Ipswich Road.

Motorists can then return to the A12 southbound's carriageway to exit at Birchwood Road, then Wick Road, and onto Park Lane to continue their journey.
