FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a fire at a Colchester home this morning.
At least two fire trucks were sent to Nunn's Road along with crews at 8am to tackle a blaze.
An eyewitness told the Gazette they saw white smoke billowing out of a building.
Pictures show grey smoke in Nunn's Road as well as firefighters with their equipment.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We can confirm that we were called at 9am today to a property fire in Nunn’s Road in Colchester.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene and assessed one patient who did not require transportation to hospital.”
Essex Fire Service has been contacted for comment.
