ZOO visitors have been warned a popular food outlet will be out of action for two days.
The Gourmet Sausage at Colchester Zoo will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A statement on the attraction’s website says the outlet, which serves locally sourced sausages and a range of hot and cold drinks, will be closed while “essential maintenance work” takes place.
No other outlets or enclosures at the zoo in Maldon Road, Heckfordbridge, are scheduled for closure.
