A MOTORIST has been reported for careless driving after a crash which closed a busy road in Colchester.
Essex Police officers were called to a crash involving a van and a car in Mersea Road at about 6.30pm last Tuesday.
No-one was injured but officers closed the road near Weir Lane while a Ford Transit and Ford Focus were recovered, Essex Police said.
A spokesman for the force confirmed the driver of the Focus was reported for careless driving.
