AN award-winning chef has announced he will soon be opening a restaurant in Maldon.
Mick Binnington has more than 20 years experience in the culinary industry.
He formerly worked in a head chef role with the Gordon Ramsay Group in London.
After becoming a private chef, Mick formed CHEF by Mick Binnington where he is chef director.
His new restaurant called Plates will be opening in Maldon on February 7, in what used to be Bloomsburys Art Cafe and Bookshop in Mill Road.
Mick said: “PLATES by Mick Binnington is a small plates casual dining concept in a shabby chic, quirky, laid back environment.
“We plan to offer a unique dining experience like no other.”
