A MAN has been charged with a string of shoplifting offences.

Daniel Bannerman, 32, of Spring Road, Ipswich, has been charged with five counts of theft from a shop and three counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order.

The charges come after detectives appealed for the public's help to find Mr Bannerman, who they wanted to speak to in connection with a theft from the Tesco Express store in Magdalen Street, Colchester, last Tuesday.

"We are no longer looking for the public’s help to locate 32-year-old Daniel Bannerman in connection with a theft investigation," the force confirmed.
