The former Royal Bank of Scotland branch could be the site for a Shumaila’s London clinic.
No external alterations have been proposed apart from new non-illuminated signage for Shumaila’s London in its turquoise colour branding.
The business looks to employ three full time and four part-time staff at the site, with the proposed hours of operation as 9.30am to 7pm on Monday to Saturday.
Shumaila’s launched in 2001 and now has eight clinics in London, Essex and Lahore, Pakistan.
The clinic specialises in laser hair removal, HydraFacial’s, skin pigmentation, body contouring, hair loss and skin tag removal.
If the plans for the new clinic are approved, the business would be in competition with The Egan Clinic, which is based just next door on the first floor of 27 Head Street.
Colchester Council will have the final say on the plans.
