A DRIVER who was using his mobile phone behind the wheel has been fined more than £250 and had his driving licence endorsed with six points.
Wilhelm-andi Ludvig, of Greenstead Road, Colchester, had been driving in Lexden Road in January when he committed the offence.
The 25-year-old, who was driving a Volkswagen Passat at the time, appeared before magistrates in late November.
Ludvig was fined £266 and given six points on his driving licence as punishment.
