AN appeal has been launched as part of an investigation into an incident which saw the A12 grind to a halt in Colchester for several hours.
Essex Police officers were called to reports of concerns for a man on a bridge over the A12 between Stanway and Marks Tey at about 11.15am on Tuesday, October 10.
Both carriageways were closed for five hours while emergency services attended.
Simon Graham, a 54-year-old man from Colchester, was arrested and charged with wilful obstruction of a highway and intentionally/recklessly causing a public nuisance.
Essex Police now wants to hear from anyone who may have found themselves impacted by the incident.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We are working alongside the Crown Prosecution Service and our investigations are progressing."
Anyone who was affected in the ways listed above can get in touch via an online form.
