A BELOVED Colchester skate brand which closed its rink last year is returning once again with a pop-up event to help raise funds for its new charity.

Rollerworld bosses are encouraging skaters of all abilities to pull on their blades once more for a special event taking place on January 20.

The fun-filled Neon Glow Help Us Grow day will take place at Charter Hall, in Cowdray Avenue, offering hours of fun for families and guests.

Kicking off the day will be a relaxed session from 11am to 12pm, followed by an all-ages family session with games and music from 12pm to 5pm.

An exclusive over-14s skate experience will finish the day off with games, music, a licensed bar, refreshments and more from 7pm to 11.30pm.

Rollerworld owners Jason and Anne Khan have already held several successful pop-up events after closing their Moorside rink in November last year.

Gazette:
Due to the size of Charter Hall, there will not be any spectator tickets available, and coaches will be on hand for everyone who does not feel the safest on wheels.

Early bird tickets offering a four-for-three discount costing £12.50 each are available online.

Gift tickets, which give a free session to a child who may not be able to afford to attend the event, are also available.

Money raised from the event will go towards the Rollerworld Foundation.
