SEVERAL estates in Colchester are still waiting to be claimed following the deaths of residents.
According to the Public Notice Portal, eight estates in Colchester are currently open to claims from genuine parties.
Anyone with an authentic claim to the below estates must register their interest by a certain date by contacting the relevant law firms with a written correspondence
Here is a list of the unclaimed estates
Estate: Donald George Petch
Donald, who was a resident of Cheviot Care Home, in Park Road, Colchester, died on January 10 and has an estate currently under the probate & trustee notice.
Who would I need to contact: Ellisons Legal LLP, in Head Street.
Deadline: A claim can be made until its deadline on December 21
Estate: Kenneth John Sansom
The Colchester resident, of Causton Road, Colchester, died on July 14 last year.
Who would I need to contact: Thompson Smith & Puxon, in Stable Road.
Deadline: January 11, 2024
Estate: Bernard Derek Johnson
Bernard, who lived in Unity Close, Colchester, died on April 6 this year.
Who would I need to contact: Birkett Long LLP, in Sheepen Road.
Deadline: January 11, 2024
Estate: David Shyam Deshmukh
David died on April 11 2023 and resided in Hereford Road, Colchester.
Who would I need to contact: Sparlings Solicitors, in Connaught Avenue.
Deadline: January 11, 2024
Estate: June Rosemary Welham
Julie, previously of Cranmere Court, Colchester, died on May 12, 2023.

Deadline: On or before December 21, 2023
Estate: David George Francois Arthur Brimfield
David died on March 18, 2023, was a Colchester resident based in East Hill.

Estate: Terrance Patrick Allen
The Colchester man died on January 9, 2023, and resided in Derwent Road, Highwoods, Colchester.

Estate: Cicely Grant
Cicely, who resided in Long Acre, Colchester, died on February 14, 2023.
