Get ready for a spectacular firework display at Southend pier with 8 displays between a three month period .
The free firework display is back again for a great family and friends night out while onlooking the spectacular fireworks upon the Thames estuary .The display takes place between a three month period starting from Saturday 30th September and every Saturday until Saturday 18th November at 8:00pm -8:15 pm .
After there was doubt of the displays occurring , a newly-formed seaside partnership which was formed by traders raised funds to support the firework display and to make sure it took place, they worked alongside Southend council and business improvement district (BID).
Be prepared; in the previous displays parking spaces get taken very quickly and traffic is a known issue- it is recommended that you use the town centre car parks . Due to possible railway strikes , this may affect your journey to the seafront so consider other travel methods and check to see if the strikes are occurring on your day .
It is known that the areas get very busy nearer to the time of the display, so it’s best to get there early to make sure you get the best view of the fireworks which will be set off from the barge out in the estuary ,meaning you can get a view of the display anywhere from the sea-life adventure to the venting casino .
