A COLCHESTER personalised store has set up a pop up shop in Shrub End.
Melissa Shelley founded Jemelma Designs during the 2020 Covid lockdown.
The business offers household, gifts and clothing.
Melissa wanted to give locals a chance to shop good quality products without a high price tag.
The pop up shop launched on October 30 and will shut on November 4, although Melissa hopes to return in the future.
Melissa said: "Lots of us are feeling the pinch, but that doesn't stop us all wanting to shop nice things and treat ourselves and our loved ones.
“I set up my business in the very first lockdown and have always run it from home, but this store allowed me to give my customers that complete shopping experience of browsing products.
“Seeing lots of choice and being able to pick things up and interact is something I can't offer online so it's been lovely to see people react to my products.
“And having only just moved to Colchester it's been lovely to meet people and feel more established here - we are loving living in Colchester.
“There's so much history, culture and unique shops here - and it's very friendly".
