A GOLF club has unveiled its revamped activities room after a major transformation project.

Lexden Wood Golf Club is now offering its own games bar on the first floor of the venue in Bakers Lane, Colchester.

Guests can enjoy playing table tennis, shuffleboard, pool and darts alongside a fully licensed bar.

And true to its cause, the club also has a golf simulator for visitors to try their hand at scoring a hole-in-one or improving their game.

The club’s golf operations manager James Holland said he is excited to see the venue now finally open.

He said: “It looks amazing and we can’t wait to welcome people inside and get the place buzzing with activity.

“We want to offer the best possible space for people to enjoy themselves and have a drink, that was always the aim of the project.
