A COLCHESTER man accused of sexual assault has been deemed not mentally well enough to stand trial, a court has heard.
Jolomi Nanna, of Lethe Grove, faces charges relating to seven women, including four offences of stalking and three of sexual assault.
He is also charged with one count of outraging public decency, common assault and exposure.
The offences are alleged to have been committed in Middlewick Close, Colchester, and the Corporal Budd VC Gym, in Berechurch Road, Colchester, in February last year.
On Monday, at Ipswich Crown Court, judge Martyn Levett said due to mental health problems, including delusional schizophrenia, Nanna was not fit to plead or stand trial.
His decision came after the court heard evidence from a psychiatrist.
Judge Levett said a trial of issue would take place during the week commencing October 30 during which a jury would decide if Nanna did the acts he is charged with.
