COLCHESTER is no stranger to paranormal history, and with Halloween nearing closer its getting easier to find ghost-hunting opportunities.
With history surrounding the Saxons, Romans and its bararic medieval past, there will be plenty of stories and paranormal activity to stumble along during the hunt on October 7.
Attendees are able to use equipment such as EMF meters and K2 meters to truly experience what a real ghost hunt is like.
There will also be vigils and séances in small groups down in the castle's creepy vaults or take part in table tipping and glass moving in other active areas.
There will also be some free time to investigate alone and tea or coffee offered on the night.
Tickets start at £59 and the event starts at 9PM and ends at 3AM.
