VARIOUS road closures are coming to the north Essex area which drivers should be aware of.
In Colchester, two roads are set to be hit with closures.
Firstly, beginning October 23, Commerce Way will shut from its junction with Grange Way in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled for four nights from 7.30pm to 5am.
It is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Following this, on October 28, Halstead Road will be closing from a point north west of its junction with London in a north westerly direction.
The closure is set to last for two days and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

Two road closures are also coming to Titpree.
An overnight closure is set to hit Braxted Park Road, from its junction with Maldon Road to its junction with Tiptree Road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on October 12 for three nights from 7.30pm to 5am while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Nearly two weeks later, on October 23, Kelvedon Road will shut from its junction with Oak Road in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to for five days and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

In mid Essex, a lengthy closure is coming to a road in Bradwell.
Hollies Road will be shutting from its junction with Sheepcotes Lane to its junction with Links Road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on October 25 for 59 days while duct installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

Another longer closure for just over two weeks is coming to a road in Silver End.
On October 29, Grooms Lane will close from a point north west of its junction with Daniel Way north westerly to its end a distance.
The closure is set to last for 15 days while pipe replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

As well as road closures, drivers should be aware of a temporary introduction of a clearway order in the Braintree district.
Station Road in Colne Engaine and Earls Colne will be closing from its junction with Elms Hall Road in a southerly direction.
As well as this, there will be the temporary introduction of a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
The closure is scheduled to commence on October 14 for just one day.
It is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial hole works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Elsewhere in the Braintree district, a road in Halstead is set for closure for four days.
On October 23, Pretoria Road will shut from its junction with Colne Road in a south westerly direction.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
