A HOMECARE provider which supports the elderly has been named as a finalist in a national awards category – becoming the only establishment in Colchester to receive the nomination.

Fuchsia Homecare, in Challenge Way, has been named as a finalist in the Great British Care Awards 2023 for the category of Home Care Co-ordinator.

The category is for businesses which can demonstrate to judges their knowledge and skills have been used to effectively manage their care teams.

They also must be able to demonstrate vision in motivating and supporting staff whilst ensuring the client is the core priority.

The homecare company’s bosses are delighted with the nomination.

Director Violeta Badan said: “I am elated with the news of this nomination.

“This is our first nomination at The Great British Care Awards, and I am sure it will not be our last. Our hard work and values have always been at the heart of Fuchsia.

“The nomination is a credit towards Fuchsia Homecare Colchester, the office staff and of course, our care workers.”
