ROADS across Essex will close for up to 11 days while roadworks are completed.

A no waiting, no loading, and no stopping restriction will be in place on Maldon Road, Colchester, for three days from September 25 while the county council carries out carriageway patching works to enable the safe use of traffic lights.

Crown Street, Dedham, will be closed between Brook Street and East Lane between 10am and 1pm on Sunday for the Dedham School 10k running event.

Braxted Park Road, Tiptree, will be closed between Maldon Road and Tiptree Road for three nights between 7.30pm and 5am from October 12 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Carriageway patching works will also close East Mersea Road, West Mersea, between The Strood and Chapmans Lane for five days from October 12.

Colchester Road, Layer Breton, will be closed for five days from October 9. The 70m closure, which will start about 200m south of Lower Road, is to allow Essex and Suffolk Water to undertake mains renewal and reinstatement works.

Long Road East, Dedham, will be closed from about 200m north east of Jupes Hill for about 45m for three days from October 9 while water connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

Parkhurst Green Lane, Wakes Colne, will be closed for 30m from Middle Green for four days from October 9 while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Plummers Road, Fordham, will be closed for 715m from a point about 60m north east of Rams Farm Road for three days from October 9 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

A one-kilometre stretch of Fordham Road, Wormingford, between Packards Lane and Sandy Hill, will be closed for five days from September 28 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Carriageway patching works will also close Mill Hill, Wormingford, for five days from September 25 for 95m from Church Road.

A three-kilometre stretch of Barnhall Road, Tolleshunt Knights, between Whitehouse Hill and Rectory Road, will be closed for four days from September 26 while mains renewal and reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.

Maldon Road, Burnham, will be closed between Ferry Road and Tinkers Hole Road for 11 days from September 26 while excavation works are undertaken by Global Utility Connections.

Star Lane, Halstead, and Cangle Lane, Greenstead Green, will be closed between Sudbury Road and Colne Engaine Road for five days from October 12 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Godlings Way, Braintree, will be closed for three days from September 27 between London Road and Notley road while the county council completes carriageway patching and gully renewal works.

Kings Lane, Stisted, will be closed heading north west from Coggeshall Road for 500m for three days from September 26 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Pettit Lane, Cressing, will also be closed for carriageway patching works for three days from September 25 between Church Road and Witham Road.
