Riverside Spice is no stranger to trophies as they're ranked the 32nd best restaurant out of 294 establishments in Colchester.

One happy customer reviews: "My partner and I wanted an Indian takeaway Saturday evening but as we are not from the area we were slightly cautious as to where to order from.

Maharani Indian Restaurant

As said in the name, the service is an amazing restaurant but doubles as a takeout, which is just as good according to reviewers.

One review reads: "Great takeaway. Brilliant food and excellent service, would definitely come again. Wait time was short and lovely staff."

Sonali Indian Takeaway

Another great food service on this list is Sonali Indian Takeaway, which also caters for vegetarians. 

Situated in East Hill, the takeaway has an average review of 4 out of 5 on Tripadvisor. 

One pleased patron said they were 'converted' to order from there.
