A speeding motorcyclist has been handed a huge fine after being caught 37mph over a major road's limit.
Jace Barnes, 22, of Bunters Avenue, Shoebury, was riding a Suzuki motorcycle on the A127 in Southend on August 29 last year when he was recorded speeding at 77mph.
The limit was 40mph.
The offence was proved via the single justice procedure on August 1 and Barnes has been fined £440.
He must also pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £176 and costs of £90.
His driving record was also endorsed with 6 points.
