A MAN has been charged as part of an investigation into the sale of drugs in Braintree.
Officers from Essex Police's Op Raptor – a specialist team which disrupts and dismantles county lines drugs gangs – began an investigation in June this year.
As part of that investigation a 44 year-old man was arrested.
Barrington Edwards, of Colchester Road, Halstead, has now been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 23 August, and is next due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on September 20.
