PLANS have been submitted to transform a former warehouse at the heart of a village into nine apartments.
The applicant is seeking outline planning permission from Colchester Council to build the properties in Church Road.
The land, at the rear of Church Road, is a brownfield site previously used as a commercial warehouse and distribution centre.
The development will see three single-bedroom apartments built and six two-bedroom flats, if approved.
Colchester Council has the final say on the proposal.
