A TENNIS superfan got up at 4am to watch her favourite player narrowly miss out on Wimbledon glory.

Kovi Luchamy, 38, travelled from Colchester to Wimbledon on Sunday.

The Novak Djokovic fan planned to watch the defending champion play from the Hill no matter the weather.

Queuing in the rain, she said: “We will never be put off to watch Novak Djokovic play.

“[I have seen him] every year since 2005.

“We normally get tickets. It’s the first time we’ve queued. It’s not too bad except the rain.

“We’ll go to the top of the hill and use the stairs.”
