A new show produced by world famous magician Derren Brown will be coming to the Mercury Theatre in Colchester this summer.
The production, titled Unbelievable, will premiere in the Mercury Theatre on July 26 and will run until August 26.
It is created, written and directed by veteran performer Derren in partnership with longtime collaborators Andy Nyman and Andrew O’Connor.
However, the show’s unique twist is that Derren Brown will not appear on stage – as the whole show is conjured from his imagination.
Unbelievable features a New York Subway band and a company of multi-talented performers who will bring the show to life on stage.
The show also includes an updated version of Will, The Witch and The Wolfman, a one act play not seen on the London stage in more than 100 years.
Speaking further on Unbelievable, Derren said: “We have reimagined what a night of illusion could be.
“We have taken the love and experience we’ve put into my own stage work over 20 years and created, from the ground up, a proper, original, theatrical experience. I think we have liberated the magic show.

Unbelievable will be opening in London’s West End at the Criterion Theatre, Piccadilly Circus on September 19, 2023.
