A SPORTS car has been left significantly damaged after a callous vandal poured a “corrosive” substance over it.

The Porsche 911 was parked on the owner’s driveway in Maldon Road, Colchester, when it was targeted overnight by the unknown criminal.

It is understood the perpetrator walked past two other cars on the property’s driveway to specifically damage the Porsche.

The “extensive damage” caused to the bodywork of the black sports car, which had a 2007 number plate, was in excess of £5,000.
