RESIDENTS near Colchester may experience power outages this afternoon whilst electricity providers carry out maintenance work.
According to UK Power Networks, the energy company which maintains electricity for London and the East of England, electricity will be switched off just outside Colchester whilst the company carries out planned repairs.
An online map shows parts of Kelvedon, Tiptree, and Feering could all be affected, with electricity likely to be switched off until the afternoon.
An estimated time of completion for the work is estimated at about 3pm.
