A LAW firm has announced it will nominate wellbeing champions to guide staff on how to get the best out of themselves in their professional and personal life.

Ellisons Solicitors, which has an officer in Head Street, Colchester, has previously introduced nutrition and sleep workshops to supports its staff, with the latest scheme part of a raft of HR changes which the firm has brought in over the years.

Throughout the rest of the month, there will be about 20 wellbeing champions across the law firm, with their responsibilities ranging from promoting wellbeing policies to raising awareness about how colleagues can access support.

Lizzy Firmin, Ellisons Solicitors chief operating officer, said “Our approach to wellbeing at Ellisons is designed to underpin the firm’s core value of putting our clients and colleagues at the heart of everything we do.

“If we provide our colleagues with as much on-going support, signposting and resources as we can, this will ultimately benefit our clients.”

Programmes to help colleagues at Ellisons Solicitors include mental health first aiders, health promotion training, and management development training.
