AN impatient motorist has been fined for driving against the flow of A12 traffic after becoming fed up of waiting.
Gregory Thompson, 56, performed a three point turn on the A12 at Witham as traffic ground to a standstill shortly before 7.15pm on October 12 last year.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard he then drove back along the road against the flow of traffic.
Thompson, of Hillfield, Feering, admitted driving without due care and attention.
He was handed five penalty points and ordered to pay £1,042 in a fine, costs and surcharge.
