AN update has been provided on the future of a vacant lot at Colchester’s Stane Park.

The retail park, which cost £65m to build, has seen a variety of stories added to the site.

Now the site remains edging ever closer to a full complement of retail units.

So far, B&Q, Aldi, Cook, and Greggs having already moved into the site.

Stane Park has also welcomed M&S, Superdrug and Mountain Warehouse.

Most recently, the site introduced a Furniture Village shop to its premises.

The shop, which opened on Boxing Day, is the company's 55th store.

However, there is still one vacant lot remaining at Stane Park, in between B&Q and Mountain Warehouse.

Now, an update has been provided on the future of this vacant lot.

A spokesperson said: “We are in discussions with various occupiers and as soon as we have something concrete to report we will provide an update.”
