A MAN who failed to attend unpaid work as part of a court order has been fined.
Richard Pamment, 59, was expected to turn up to the unpaid work session on three dates between November 2022 and January this year.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard he failed to provide acceptable evidence detailing the reasons for his absences within the specified time limit.
Pamment, of Harwich Road, Great Bromley, admitted the offence.
He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £60 in costs. The court order remains in place.
