A MAN accused of dealing cocaine and heroin in Colchester has claimed he was exploited.
Nicholas Hibbert, 39, is alleged to have supplied the drugs in the city between October 28 and December 9 2021.
He was due to be sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court on Wednesday but the case was adjourned so a Home Office report on whether he was a victim of modern slavery can be served.
The case will be heard again following the production of the document on April 26.
Hibbert, of Farren Road, Lewisham, remains subject to an electronically tagged curfew.
