COLCHESTER United defender Connor Hall has been named in both the Sky Bet EFL Team of the Week and League Two Team of the Week.

The 29-year-old centre-back has been rewarded for his performance for the U's in their 2-2 draw at league leaders Leyton Orient, on Saturday.

Hall scored a fine header from a Matt Jay corner in the 89th minute, to get Colchester back into the game at Brisbane Road.

And after Noah Chilvers had equalised with a stunning stoppage-time strike, the former Harrogate Town defender then made a crucial goal-line clearance to deny Aaron Drinan and help Ben Garner's side claim a precious point, on the road.

Hall's performance at Leyton Orient was the latest impressive display he has produced since joining Colchester from League One side Port Vale, in January.

The ex-Bury Town youngster has made 12 appearances for the U's so far, all but one of them starts.

He will be hoping to continue his good form when Colchester host Tranmere Rovers, on Saturday.

Tom Eastman, who is on loan at Harrogate Town from Colchester, was also included in the League Two Team of the Week for his performance in his side's vital 1-0 win over Barrow.
