Get ready for the return of Ford RideLondon-Essex on Sunday 28 May 2023 as the world’s greatest festival of cycling returns to Essex for a second year.

An estimated 25,000 cyclists of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are expected to take part.  Hundreds of national and local charities have rider places helping to raise millions of pounds of much needed funding for good causes.

RideLondon-Essex is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Essex to national and international audiences increasing tourism and opportunities to support the local economy.

The rides take place on traffic- free roads with 100, 60 and 30-mile challenges. All rides start at Victoria Embankment in central London with the 100 and 60-mile routes entering Essex via Epping Forest. Riders will pass through some of the county’s most picturesque towns, villages and countryside including Epping, Ongar, Great Dunmow, Felsted and Writtle. A section of the route is a replica of the 2014 Tour de France stage that went through Essex. Riders will return to London for a spectacular finish at Tower Bridge.
