A car has crashed into a building sparking a major emergency service response.
Police and emergency services are dealing with a crash involving two vehicles where one car has struck a building.
The incident in Head Street, Halstead, occurred this afternoon and has seen the road closed in both directions for the foreseeable future.

Significant damage has been done to the building and drivers have been urged to avoid the area while police works with structural engineers.
A spokesman for Essex Fire and Rescue service said: "We were called at 12.07pm to Head Street, Halstead.
"An Urban Search and Rescue crew and one officer attended to inspect the structure of a building, after a vehicle had collided with it.
"Crews left the scene in the hands of Highways at around 3pm after making sure the scene was safe."
