TEN one-bedroom flats providing residential care and supported living services are set to be built on Berechurch Hall Road, Colchester.
The application, originally made in June 2022, was conditionally approved by Colchester Council’s planning committee.
Essex County Council had previously raised an objection to the plans as they failed to provide sufficient off-road parking facilities.
The developer has since submitted new drawings which outline plans for seven parking spaces.
The apartments will sit on what is currently described as “empty overgrown land”.
