THOUSANDS of pounds worth of tools were stolen from a garage in Colchester.

Two suspects entered a garage in Millstone Green, Copford, causing damage and stealing £4,000 worth of power tools.

Police were called just after midnight on Monday, January 9, to reports of the garage being broken into.

Both suspects were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.

Essex Police are looking for anyone with information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage to come forward.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Colchester earlier this month.

“Officers were called to a residential address on Millstone Green, Copford shortly after midnight on Monday, January 9, following reports of a garage being broken into.

“The two suspects entered the garage causing damage and stealing several power tools worth around £4,000.

“Both suspects were wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.
