A TEENAGER who damaged a Covid protection panel at a train station has been ordered to pay for his crime.
Kain Newell, 19, damaged the plastic screen at Colchester North Railway Station on March 26, 2021.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard £200 worth of damage was inflicted by Newell on that date.
Newell, of Clarence Road, Grays, admitted criminal damage when he appeared before magistrates earlier this month.
He was ordered to pay compensation of £200.
