A THIEF who stole whiskey from a city centre supermarket has been fined by magistrates.
Jemma Rank, 42, snatched four bottle of Jack Daniel's whiskey from Sainsbury’s in Priory Walk, Colchester.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard the value of the stolen alcohol was £116 in total.
It was illegally taken on January 6.
Rank, of Anemone Court, Colchester, admitted the offence when she appeared at the court this week.
She was ordered to pay £425 in a fine, costs and victim surcharge.
