A MAJOR A120 crash has caused significant delays and seen emergency services swarm to the scene of the incident.
A collision, which took place on the stretch of road west of Braintree towards Gransmore Green, has caused significant disruption and closed lanes on a section of the carriageway in both directions.
According to Essex Highways, delays are expected up until 9pm on Sunday evening.

Social media pictures show two cars off the side of the road, with a video showing several police cars, a fire engine, ambulance, and air ambulance helicopter at the scene.
One man on social media said a contraflow system had been put in place to send traffic back in the opposite direction.
The emergency services have been contacted for comment.
